40Gb PS3 + Extras Trade-In value

Hi guys first post in this section

gone back to console gaming. Anyway, I was wondering if you guys know how much I'd get if I traded in the following at **** or ***********

PS3 40GB (with box, manuals, cables, controller etc.)
1 Sixaxis Controller
Killzone 2
Resistance 2
Far Cry 2 (Collectors edition... what a mistake

)
Quantum of Solace
Shaun White Snowboarding

If I cant get a decent value for all this them I may consider purchasing the PS3 Slim just because its new and I like new

, stupid I know but some of us are like that

.

Firstly, you've named two competitiors which is against forum rules and may get you suspended.

Secondly, you can only obtain values in the Price Checks forum which is only unlocked after you reach a certain number of posts and been a member for so long.

Read the FAQ.

Just to clarify, I can understand posting some form of selling below the time & required post is wrong but how is * and * competitors to OCUK? So you can't talk about anything related to */*? :confused:

You can't mention any company that sells anything in direct competition with the overclockers company.

Quite an extreme rule but I can see why they want it that way.

Those two stores sell the same console products as ocuk.

Best idea is to phone them up, also if you have one of the trade in exchange shops local, one of them do a price match + £1 for every item traded in.

Ok I understand the rules totally fine with that ... what I'm trying to get a bit of clarification on is, say I want to buy a Playstation 3 from a local retailer. Since OCUK don't sell PS3 packages, how is mentioning the retailed a competitor? (Unless I'm just being stupid and can't see the deals)

Because practically every retailer that sells PS3's also sell 360's/Wii's, and other peripherals/gadgets that OcUK sell also, so directing people to those stores can potentially take away business from OcUK.

And you still need to edit out the competitors names out of your post (#3) otherwise you could face a suspension.

Tbh I don't really see the point in not being allowed to mention **** or *********** because 1. Neither sell PCs or PC componets and 2. How is it going to take business away from OCUK when they have 1 Wii in stock and no 360s??? :confused:

Sorry about that last post. Just a little Pee'd off really. Just phone **** and they offered me £95 INSTORE credit or £80 cash for a top end entertainment system that cost me £300
AAAAAARRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!

Most annoying this is they'll go sell it for £200 or more!!!

The only crazy thing is that with so many companies nowadays starting to sell electrical, gaming, entertainment goods, etc we will be very restricted to mention any names. This would make it very difficult to explain a certain situation.

An example, **** sell games related stuff, can we mention them? H*mebase sell tubes (which I used for watercooling lol), are they OK to mention?

No. It isn't hard, any company that sells ANYTHING that OCUK sells is a no-no to mention.
