Just got that bit, but I had to drop the difficulty level to "wussie" temporarily to get through the last part of Hospital though.

Of course all that happens when you get the last piece is the enemies level up (or more of them).

Still find it really irritating having to fight your way between missions.

Be a bit pointless if you could just waltz past the enemies whenever you felt like it. Its possible to run past them but it also feels pretty pointless as its a shooter, not a runner.

Would be possible I guess, took me closer to 10 but I went searching and kept getting lost in the sewers :o

I did enjoy the single player game though, hope to try the multi-player tonight if I get chance.
 
Just installed this today, loving it so far. Running through the town to get the next mission is a bit of a strange twist but I can't say I mind it at all.

Really really picks up, you can look in the thread for my pessimistic comments but it really gets a lot lot better :D
 
11 hours to finish it.

I have to say I enjoyed it for the most part, the AI was a bit thick and the GFX was a lot better in some places than others. The best way to describe Wolfenstein is; It's a lot like the summer blockbuster movie, not going to win any Oscars, but loads of stuff blows up and the body count is high.

Proper popcorn gaming.
 
Finished this today. Didn't think much of it. It was very generic in places. I agree with rancid-a it does look very 2004. I played it with everything turned up and it felt like a console game.

What are the necromancers? Do they speed about and have blue-fire on their hands and throw an annoying shield over soldiers? Horrible enemy. I didn't like that skeleton faced thing in the church either and hope that these creatures are few and far between. Think I need to spend my $$ in the shop now :)
 
Been playing it for the past day - it's not as bad as some have said. Granted, it isn't brilliant nor the epic experience it could have been but it's enjoyable.

Voice acting is quite bad and textures are low res...plus it could really do with some AA. And I hate the carpy console menus.
 
i bought it yesterday and played for about half hour, i enjoyed what i saw and played until i had the dreaded bsod, i wonder if the game has a memory leak or something...
 
Most people seem to be happy overall with their purchase, do they feel it was worth what they paid for it? £24.99 is the cheapest I've seen.

£15-20 probably - I've only seized upon it because there's nothing else to play atm. It's one of those 'save it for a rainy day' games that is OK for a blast but nothing amazing.

The shield power is very cool though :D
 
I finished it in about 9 hours on the hardest difficulty. I don't think I was particularly slow at it, and I wasn't aiming to pick up every item...just took my time and enjoyed it. Dunno how people do it in 5 hours.

I really enjoyed it though. The guns felt awesome to fire :)
