hi all i have just been refunded £177 after my Be Quiet 1000W PSU packed in,i bought a OCZ modxstream 700W while on special just to tide me over for a week or so but would like a decent high end psu back in my machine.
im now ready to buy another high end PSU and the Corsair HX 850W ATX Modular has caught my eye. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-019-CS&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=1084.
is this specific model any good ive only heard good things about corsair psu but have never owned one myself.
The warranty is another good reason to buy this im thinking, be grateful on with you thoughts on this please.

Your welcome :)

It recieved a cracking review in this months cpc, looking at the 750W version myself!

Forgot about that, scored 90% overall, "Stable, extremely efficient, cool, modular cables, great value." It really is a great bit of kit.

I wish that I got this PSU instead of my Be Quiet 850w, as I really like the flat modular cables the Corsair uses.

Nice video review of the Corsair HX 750W, the PCI-E cables are even modular were as the HX 850W version they are hard-wired so I would prefer the HX 750W personally. :)
