Neighbour terrorising the street

I used to live in a nice road where all the neighbours were friendly & there was no trouble.
Last year a family bought a house 8 doors above me, they appeared to have 3 teenagers & 2x 7yr olds.
Within a spate of 3 months, 3 cars were stolen within 100 yards of this house & also body-kit theft from my car.

Recently the teenagers appear to have disappeared, apart from a female teenager who walks up/down the road about 50times/day for an unknown reason.

The road is now having problems with the 2x 7yr olds:

*Hitting a car parked on road with stick so neighbour told them stop, then that night the rear window of the car was smashed with a house-brick.

*Swearing at passers by.

*Throwing stones at cars driving down the road.

*Throwing stones at house windows when occupants are away.

*Playing in someone’s rear driveway & when owner wishes to drive car out of driveway & tells the children to move out the way they hurl abuse at the driver.

*Placed glass bottle in middle of road then watched from sidewalk as cars smashed the bottle.

*Most worryingly they often run across the road without looking & the road is often busy with cars doing >30mph & large buses have to mount the kerb for 100yards etc.

These little brats often have new bikes etc. so their parents must care on some level?
I presume their home life must be very violent & maybe their parents are drug users etc. as the children often look very angry.

Coincidentally, theres a nearby road which looks like it contains a lot of rough people & I'm forced to drive as fast as legally possible to make it harder for the local population to hit my car with a stone.
Unfortunately hitting a child at 30mph will probably kill them rather than the 20mph id prefer to drive at.

Is there anything that can be done to stop this terrorising behaviour from this neighbour without fear of reprisal?

thanks

Contact your local neighbourhood PC/PCSO. They're pretty good at dealing with this kind of disorderly behaviour round my way, no idea what they're like in Stoke though. Is this family housed in council/housing association property? That can make things easier in terms of kerbing their anti-social behaviour.

Log everything with your local police force, worth getting chummy with your local PCSO as this area is their specialty. Also, try and get the whole street in on this - if it's affecting everyone then it'll be difficult for them to retaliate.

Sooner or later there will be enough evidence collated by all for them to enforce behavioral constraints on them.

Complain to police and council
And get some security or web cams to gather evidence.

This. more evidence and complaints the better.

The house used to be rented to a nice couple, then they moved away & now these people have bought the property.
Neighbourhood PC/PCSO, ahh right. I think some neighbours have reported incedents to the police & theres been more police cars driving up the road lately.

As it happens Ive just started recording on occasion on a HD webcam from an upstairs window.

Pleasingly you mean? Perhaps not for the driver at the time, but I believe the country would be a better place if kids (and adults) like this were dead.

It would be their own fault anyway.

just keep calling the police, say the kids are threatening you with knifes etc, and get other people in the street to do the same

Hire a banger for the day, get a couple of mates, put on balaclavas, drive down the street. Wait for a stone to hit the car. Immediately stop, all get out and **** the ****ers. Get back in and drive off.

*Disclaimer: this may not be strictly legal, but is probably reprisal free and will feel good

Best thing to do, get yourself down to an illegal dogfighting meet, buy a couple of the winning dogs, and bring them home , let them loose on the street directly at the kids. Go inside the house and make yourself a nice cup of tea and enjoy the quietness that evening will bring. Folks might ring the police but they'll just ignore the call like all the others being made.

If they come knocking, then those dogs were not yours, you've never kept a dog, all the neighbours know that already.

Else wait till hallowe'en or guy fawkes and shoot rockets at them until you get them in the face.

Third choice, get judge dredd on the blower, he'll daystick them into comprehension.

The only way these kids will learn is when they pick on the wrong person who wont lose any sleep over hitting them, and then going through the door of their parents and turning them over as well.
Unfortunetly a lot of kids these days are scum
