Best protein shake?

I thought that was good?

Amount Per Serving

Calories: 199.2

Carbohydrates: 3.6g
Of which Sugars: 2.5g
Fats: 1.48g
Of Which Saturates: 1.48g

lol 53g surely is 2 scoops atleast? sounds like a con to me making that round 22g protein per scoop which is pretty average

Most 2 scoop servings i've seen only get to about 36-38g, its just that little bit more I guess?

Dont forget it is also 33% micellar casein, one of the cheapest blends I could find also.

Normally a 25gram(1) scoop contains 20grams(just under usually) of protein.

Yeah it normally hovers around 18.5-19g of protein for a scoop, Nutrisport hangs in there at about 22g as you say, yet doesnt have more calories than, say, Impact Blend. Every little helps! especially since its not CRAZY expensive and has casein in it :)

I use as mentioned before a 'standard' whey from Phd which also contains added BCAA's and L-glutamine @ £15 per kilo roughly.(45 scoops)

I also use once a day before bed Phd Blend which contains:
Whey Protein Concentrate, Milk Protein Concentrate (Providing 80% Micellar Casein), Hydrolysed Wheat Protein (Providing Peptide-Bonded L-Glutamine), Egg Albumen, Soya Protein Isolate), Traditional Ground Flaxseed. Which comes out at around £17 per kilo. This releases over 6-8 hours.

Both products come in 2.27KG denominations which = 30 days worth of standard whey and 45 nights worth of the blend.

Just thought I'd give the heads up for anybody looking for something to use before bed.

Thats kinda what I'm going to start doing, I have some MP True Whey left, I'll use that for straight after workout, and I'll be using the Total Protein for mornings and before bed.

Previously I was taking True Whey all the time.

Quick Q, do you just take one scoop before bed? (20'ish g protein?)

1 Serving of Phd Pharma Blend is 2 rounded scoops. Which is about 42/43grams. Should see you through the night. If for whatever reason I miss this (rare, a night out and stopped out etc) I'll have it in the morning when I get back.

I'll have 3 scoops of regular whey daily. On training days one pre with 2 Dymatize BCAA's and two post with 2 Dymatize BCAA's. On off days I just space 3 scoops out over the course of the day inbetween meals.

In answer to your question I have 2 :p try not to rely too much on whey and eat as much real food as you can.

Just enough to see if I will end up sticking to using it ;)

I use Reflex, primarily because it's made within a mile of where I work and I get a great deal off a local dealer. And because it tastes so damn good.
