Hi guys!
Sorry for the completely newbie question. I've been using the on-board sound in my current PC for the past five years. However, I'm currently planning a new build -- something significantly better than what I got last time.
Could you tell me, why should I include a sound card in my new build? What are the top reasons for using one over the on-board sound? Is it purely the audio quality, or are there other reasons (more inputs/outputs, for example)?
Thanks!
