What is the best feeling you've had?

What is the single most brilliant feeling that you guys/girls look back on or still experience today and rate it one of the best?

When I stepped into the arrivals hall at Melbourne International Airport and saw my girlfriend again after 4 months.

Repeating the feeling at Heathrow next week, although only a month this time :p

Saving someone's life comes a close second to the birth of my son.

There is a huge rush of adrenaline when entering a burning house with zero visablity due to smoke and knowing someone may be there as the radio report on the way stated 'persons reported'. Feeling around the house in complete darkness looking for anyone who may be trapped and then to find them and carry them outside into fresh air where they start to cough and splutter. You know you have saved them, it's a good feeling and the best was when I rescued a 6 month old from his cot. It would have made for a good front page, babe in arms with my BA mask over his face as I emerge from the smoke with my eyes stinging. Your archetypal rescue, great feeling.

I think he figures if he tries hard enough he'll wear me down in the end :p

dangerstat email in trust;)

So could be a anything really, the feeling of having a child, or one of those rememberable nights at a club.

Rob

When I found out this bullying little **** that I went to school with, died of a heroin overdose:). I hope the little puke suffered just like the many life's he made a misery!

Wow, that must take quite a lot to enjoy the death of an old enemy more than anything else. I had a bully or two, nothing serious, but despite my resent all of these years later, I now know I probably lead a much better life than them.

I was fortunate enough not to of been on the receiving end of this little puke, but I knew many people that was and many years on he still effects them.

Not a single occurrence, but I love getting so involved with creating something that many hours pass without noticing. Doesn't happen as often as I'd like.

To clear up, I meant with the girl that I was talking about in the previous post

Yes but by not asking her, you probably made her feel bad. Women like to know that men think they're attractive. Even if she wouldn't remotely say yes, she will appreciate your effort and probably try to set you up with some other girl. Trust me, been there many times and I always offer them my services. It's a lovely ego boost for girls. And don't forget to trot out the 'I won't let this affect our friendship line'. By the time they realise that is garbage it's often too late!;)

Honestly, this is one of the few situations where it wasn't what either of us wanted, and even if she did, it wouldn't be with me. And I've told her many times that she is beautiful.

The moment I realised I could cook and eat bacon whenever I wished.

Awesome. :D

Not sure I can top ^^ frankly but I'll give it a shot:

1 - Cycling 200 miles from Newcastle to Edinburgh, and charging up the hill after Innerleithen with a tailwind, screaming down the other side at 40mph.

2 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYvX2_aupH0 - Faith No More. Yes, that's Faith No ****ing More baby! :D

3 - Waking up 1 morning in June and realising I've found the drive to do all the stuff I've wanted to do, then doing it.

4 - MDMA, if anyone has tried it and isn't mentioning it as their number 1, it's because they're worried about what other people on the internet will think of them. It may not be clever, but it is a fantastic feeling with no effort required to achieve.

I've been pondering this for the past hour. I can't possibly think of a single most best experience.

The usual cheesy crap springs to mind, second date with current mrs etc etc but nothing out of the ordinary. I'm just so.... unimpressed most of the time. :D
