Considering some of the sentences passed out for proper rape and GBH yeah I think this is pretty harsh to be honest.
Can't say I'll be loosing much sleep over it though. If he's lucky he'll get out before he finds out what it feels like to be on the receiving end

The sentence may not have been harsh enough considering he was considered dangerous enough to be remanded in custody up to the trial. He probably has previous convictions for this type of assault, but like I said, without knowing more it's difficult to say.

I suspect that even if the judge had said something along the lines of "slipping a digit into a ladypocket is wrong, m'kay?", it probably wouldn't get mentioned in a newspaper article.

Yeah you'd be a tad upset and/or angry about a bloke grabbing your miss's/sister's or nieces ass but I dont think totally destroying someone's life over it fits the crime.
7 Years on the sex offenders register which I was always under the impression belonged to pedo-bear and friends will make it nigh on impossible for him to get any work at all once released.
