i had e74 and never thought twice about their warrenty, I just phoned them up and said I had a rrod problem and they fixed it, I would do that to be honest as either way its their fault so they should foot the bill tbh

judging by the symptoms you had in your first post, looks like the same issue I had with mine. we determined that it was the scaler chip that was at fault, but the oven trick sorted it
