I have been finding these halfway up my garden path for around the past two weeks. These seem to appear day and night and usually about 4 - 5 at a time. At first i thought it was mice or rat droppings but on closer inspection they are not.
I have asked a couple of people where i live who have worked on a farm and they say they have not seen anything like it.

Main reason why i am asking is i need to make sure they ain't poison pellets of sort chucked over by the people next door as i have two dogs.

My camera is an old Fuji A101 so forgive the quality and for the record there is a 7ft hedge running up the side of my garden path but nothing appears to be in it.

And for size reference next to a two pence piece. Also it is easily crumbled and i can see no dead insect parts at all.

where are they found?

if you find them close to walls, rahter than in the open. and they crumble to dust in your fingers (little to no moisture) they are likely to be bat droppings. they often do pooop as they are leaving or entering a roost, and because their diet is mainly small insects, they tend to be very fine and crumble to dust easily. looking at the 2p coin they look about right.

I can forward forward the pictures to the bat group to confrim.

R B, they are found halfway up my garden path which is next to a 7ft high hedge which although recently cut is still quite thick (you cannot see next doors garden through it).
Nearest wall is about 15ft away and is my house, nothing has been seen near there.

I hope in a way they are bat droppings as i know they are harmless so please do forward the pics on.

If you look closely at them you will see several squares all over and this is what threw me off as i have never seen anything like it and i really need to rule out poison pellets of sort.

Raisens, try one,

I cant belive people actually take pictures of **** and post it on a forum.

Quickz!!! to the internet.

It wasn't really a "quick to the internet" moment though was it, he went and asked some farmers first.

Looks like something you might find in muesli...
It's hard to be sure from the photos, but they look flattened with squareish corners, and with the hatching on them it does suggest they are man-made.
I've only bought rat poison a couple of times but they don't look anything like what I used.
Have you (or the dogs) done anything to upset your neighbours?

Plus i need to find out if it is actually **** and not poison pellets. I am sure other dog or cat owners would also want to make sure.

No they do not smell btw.

No problems with the neighbours that i know of

Sounds right you'd be surprised how many bats there are about.
