Im finding NG+ near impossible, been trying to get some worlds done, died at the armoured spider in world 2, so went to world 3 died a few times there, switched to world 4 and died quite a lot there, so in total i reckon ive lost over 200k worth of souls today, me dragon sword just isnt doing enough dmg and the adj shield no longer effective, poison cloud,death cloud and acid cloud dont seem to work on the skelis.

@Surfer Storm King is very very easy, the sword to defeat him is located in the place where u fight him, taking down everything then is a simple matter of locking on, swing sword, dodge repeat... Then fighting storm king is also easy as he has a simple pattern and only attacks once lol...

I use 4-3 to farm souls... 26k in 2 minutes...

Level 80 now and only have false king left to fight... Might boost myself to 100 before i fight him and enter NG+ tho

You dont even need to dodge, just run to the house and stick to the wall, i didnt get hit once.

Also does anyone know where to find Pure darkmoonstone? The C. gekko is no longer respawning in 4-3 and even when they were all i would find were chunks of Darkmoonstone

Just have 1-4 left to do now, all the other bosses done

might go through each world and do any pure black WT events as there is no way to get pure WT now all of the bosses are dead

Level 90ish and taking ~55k souls to level up :eek:

I've got the Moonlight sword, looks impressive but seems pretty weak, is that just because my magic level is pretty low?

Either turn World 4 pure black or wait until your next run through to get more Darkmoonstone.

Yep the Moonlight sword is magic based so you will need high level magic to get the most out of it.

Ive done 1 pure black event... killed BP Miralda on 1-1 but thats it... Think i will leave them for subsequent playthroughs... Some of the BP fights are quite tough

I believe the moonlightsword runs on Faith stat, higher that is the better the weapon is, and being pure magic it goes through defenses so is good against heavily amoured foes and pvp

Thats one reason why the dragon sword is rubbish in NG+ as it doesnt stack with stats, with it equipped says in stats that my RT is 266 which breaks down to 133 atk and 133 magic regardless of stats, where as my compound long bow is at lvl 9 and does more dmg as it stacks with str stat and dex, the higher they are the more dmg i do, but bows are too slow for some enemies.

Finally potted the red dragon in 1-2 earlier, used the souls to up my str to 20 so I could put points in faith, endu etc for a while, without worrying over weapon weight, took like 100 arrows with my +2 composite short bow. Brave knight me lol. I still have Phalanx and the dragons soul, but have consumed the soldier and hero souls I found so far, is that the right way to go? Also any recommended strats for the tower guard boss for a temple knight?

Keep the boss souls as they are used later in the game, it will usually say in the description if its a boss soul or not, the rest can be consumed.

You're safe to use any souls with hero or soldier in their name but hang on to the rest for magic, miracles, weapon upgrades.

Keep behind the tower knight and attack his ankles to make him fall down. Make sure to take out all of the archers around the top level first or they'll kill you really quickly. If you have magic or a bow then it's much easier as you can hide behind a wall and take pot shots at him.

Not doing to bad, only got 3 levels to do. Quick question can you change the tendencies in a world if all the boss are dead. There is a black Phantom in level 3.2, which I have kill three time, but it hasn't change anything.

Those are general BP on 3-2... They dont effect your WT... Only the named NPC BP effect your WT, its pretty impossible to get to Pure White WT if all the bosses in one world are dead...

Easiest way to go to Pure White: Use Ephemeral Eyes to bring yourself to body form then suicide on the world you want to change... Keep doing this untill the world switches to pure black (you can verify by finding the named BP NPC) Now stay in body form, kill the named BP, kill the primevil demon and kill the boss this gives you +7 to WT making the world Pure White from Pure Black...

Hope that makes sense

P.S getting to pure black is easy and can be done at any time, just die in body form and it lowers WT by -1 towards Pure Black

Ordered a copy of this last night. So should be playing within 7-14 days hopefully.

Already started a Knight using a friends copy, loving the game so far, though I don't think I've even scratched the hard parts.

Well NG+ is tough, took out phalanx with ease, even tho i didnt realise they get new attacks, like respawning the blobs and regen healing lol!

Then tried armoured spider and died, fools idol and died, adjudicator and died... Time to farm some souls methinks lol

My copy finally arrived today. At last. Thought i was going to be waiting another few days or so. Anyway, any pointers or tips for a first time player? Cant wait to get this started.

Armoured Spider is easy if you use the cheap tactics

. Safe spot + bow = profit.
