Ive seen a lot of photos where people have been to this "Evo Triangle", supposedly one of the best road in the UK. Does anyone have a post code or directions of how to get there?
Im thinking of going this Sunday, although the weather is supposed to be awful.

Shameless pimping of car pics on the triangle welcome:)

Go to google, enter evo triangle then press search and then maps.

Instant result ;)

I went probably about this time last year, maybe a little later, Oct/Nov time.

Happy days, saw a couple of other people up there.

My tip, go a lot slower than you would initially think to first time around, some of the corners are deceptive, I had the back end start to come out at relatively low speed due to the road surface, conditions etc

i like you to know that my yaris is fun to drive around in on country roads. Always go the country way if I go to Brid or Scarb a lot of fun but it would be better if I had a Lotus or MX5

best road are always in Wales grrr oh well guess its just north yorkshire for me

so why aren't you on the list for the north yorkshire meet this Saturday?

We also have some of the best roads in the country too you know ;)

Saturday should be dry. There'll be an Evo X FQ360, R8 V10, 997T and myself along with the usual crowd.

The moors are always clear of speed cams, worth doing a check down the A5 and looping back on yourself to start with, just watch out for a black Focus. Give us an idea of a time and you are more than welcome to come around with us, easier to follow somebodt if you don't know the roads.

Thats very kind of you mate, only problem is I'm working Saturday so its got to be Sunday :( would have loved to seen the cars you've listed

Evo triangle is awesome. Never get any good pictures though because I never want to stop once I'm there, especially if I'm with a group of people driving..enthusiastically. :D

It's the first Sunday of the month so it should be ok, DaveP will be there with his R34 GTR and probably the Pentre lads (Sagaris, RS4, M400) and there is always a slew of Boxsters, Elises etc and Jap crap if it's not torrential. Early morning and early evening are both regarded as prime time, starts to get properly quick (prison food) after 7 as it's usually locals doing timed runs.

If you are coming with friends, please don't park up at the Sportsmans Arms. I'm on the doorstep, so if you give me a general time and I might see you there, if a grey GT-R flashes you, just pull in to the next layby and I'll catch up.

I'm pondering taking a visit before I get rid of the CTR. 100 mile just to get there. Will see if the other halfs up for it. I'm sure she'd like a go too :D

As much as I love the Triangle, I'm not sure I would recommend a 200 mile round trip just for itself alone. 20 years ago, yes...today, probably not. It has grown in popularity and exponentially to traffic numbers, especially in the last 8 years or so and weekends can be hit and miss, although this summer has been bloody good as far as exotica. I used to be able to do a lap and maybe pass one or two cars coming the other way, but that was in my SD1 to put it into context and now some of the really high speed sections get mullered by the traffic.

If you want to avoid the bearded car club members, the fair weather bikers and dads in their S-Maxs, you really have to wait until Sunday evening or come down on a weekday. On the other hand, if you want to make a full day or weekend of it, then just incorporate the Triangle into a circuit of the best North Welsh routes like the Crimea Pass, Nant Francon, Trawsfynydd etc and you'll get the scenery as well as the great roads.

Hmm i should come over some time and check this out on sunday if i can find time, i only live about 25mins away!

Aye, you should.
