Nice setup mate, I have some vibro pads on my Adam monitors, they look very similar to yours, they do work very well.
How are you finding the HS50's? what kind of music are you making in Pro-tools?

Looking good dude. -_-

Yeah, i do like my vibro pads. I told Raikiri to get some Auralex ones as i saw his without any stands or nothing! Shock Horror! :p

I'm not really making any music on Pro Tools at the moment. I mainly wanted a sound card that had the capability of using pro tools if i ever wanted to use it. Got a Pro Tools 8 upgrade for free which was nice. I'm using Logic Pro more than anything else. I mainly use the monitors and sound card for mastering and mixing down music tracks, hence the HS50m's.

Personally, i really like the sound of the Yamaha NS10's when i'm in the studio and because you can't buy them anymore i plumped for the next best thing, the HS50m's. They May lack bass but what they lack in bass it makes up in clarity and preciseness of the music you are listening to. I may still buy the subwoofer if i'm feeling flush or just replace them with the HS80m's. I really like them!

I also had a look at the Yamaha MSP5's but they just sounded too harsh for casual listening when i want to do so. I can switch between critical listening and casual listening with the switches on the back of these HS50m's and i like the sound they produce in either situation.

Thought they were both wireless. I love the smaller one. Cheaper than I thought.

Thanks for the link :)

Unfortunately you can only buy the wireless bluetooth one without the number pad, but the wired ones come in both numpad and sans numpad variants.

I would like a wireless number pad version but everyone seems to comment on how small and awesome my keyboard is when they come in! :p

P.S. Battery life is very good on the bluetooth mini keyboard. It takes 3 AA's and last for months!

Im used to not using a number pad. Currently use a laptop as my daily machine but sometimes have it connected to my TV so a keyboard like that would be very handy to have. Knowing me, I will end up using it all the time.

Also, as Im a fussy git, I will probably get a mouse to match and scrap my current one (Logitech MX Lazer) :p

The Wireless mighty mouse would suit nicely but i would recommend getting a VX Revolution instead, can be had for £24.99 at a local store. The mighty mouse's wheel can get clogged and cease to work after a time.

I'd like one but i also like the convenience of the USB ports on the KB....using the Bluetooth one meaning i have to access the back of the imac everytime i plug something in....or get a usb dock thing.

^ those keyboards may look nice in pictures but I have a set on the spare pc and they don't feel like a dinovo at all! I have later dinovo models and it's as if the above was made by a child in a sweat shop while the newer models were made in a factory made of gold!

Looks nice though I guess :p

The recent one I received, the rubber coating on the palm rest is coming off. Extremely disappointed. ~Strokes 5 year warranty~

Logitech's CS is superb. However that said, I've had my dinovo replaced 3 times now!

My desk:

^^ currently has a few BAE systems ammo bags, a motherboard from some old digital TV box and my camelbak to the left of the table under the paper, and then farcry 2 on the table, just out of sight under my monitor is my little vault boy from my Fallout 3 Collectors edition. and before any of you dirty people accuse me of anything dirty that is a empty box of tissues to the left of the speaker as i have a lot of runny noses

My Desk a few months ago:

^ changes, a hell loaf of crap has landed on my desk from somewhere and i also took my alarm clock and ripped it apart for its fm radio, and my tower case has change from the armor jr. to coolermster cm690
