Steam Game- Red Nation

Looks pretty cool, rather like Zombie Shooter - will try the demo later :)
 
Was hoping for something like a zombie Shadowgrounds type game, but judging by the demo, it's a bit limited and repetitive
 
Yeah pretty game, but its just a fancy looking top down shooter. Nice array of weapons though. Something L4D should take note of.

i know theres a few out there but i cant find any that take my fancy, i love Survival games, maybe someone knows any good ones i might not have tried before

in this nation red you can pick up a turret but as far as the dmeo goes it only lasts about 4 seconds.
 
i downloaded the demo and it crashes my pc after a short while.

never have i seen my 2x4850's spin so much and the temp is so high.

not sure why this game is doing this but if the main game is like this i will not be buying it.

quite a shame really as i kinda like it.

the game is very demanding on my pc for some strange reason.
 
holy thread revival.

nation red is on offer again for £3.99 and there is now a on-line multi player option which should make it more playable for everyone.

Strictly speaking its not a zombie game, But on alien swarm there is a modded map which is basically survival where you can place turrets and what not, not sure if it will be your cup of tea if your after zombies though :P

As for Nation Red it just looks to me like one of those online zombie horde games with upped up graphics :(
I am most probably wrong though.
 
a friend bought this some time ago and showed me , its okay for 5mins play - saying that his version didnt have online play.

Id try the demo before buying this. imo think its not worth £4. Their are better zombie killing games on the market
 
Bought it yesterday on steam.. tis fun, there are loads of perks so after you survive for a while your dude becomes quite the killing machine which is fun... seems to be very unstable though. In a the session me and my mate had yesterday we both crashed about 6 times at random occasions.. considering a game only lasts about 5 minutes before you are totally overran its not a huge deal if you miss the last minute but still quite annoying.
 
I got this game in the recent sales. The campaign is ridiculously easy and finished it in seconds.

For me the main value from this game has come from the Freeplay mode where you simply have to survive as long as possible!

The longest I have managed is almost 30 minutes :P I am currently in the top 40 scores on free play hehe xD

I've put 34 hours into this game so far, not bad for the £2-£3 it cost me
