What's so bad about the Hotpoint? We have one and it's running flawlessly.

You are very lucky.
Blah blah blah, I was the Quality Audit Technician for Hotpoint for 27 years blah blah blah.
Believe me, they are rubbish and made with rubbish parts.
They were bad enough when made in Britain but now they are made in Poland.
The same washers are also Indesit, Ariston & Creda.

beko.....nothing else come's close to the quality of this make.

Oh dear, worse than Hotpoint/Creda/Indesit/Ariston to be honest.

Blah blah blah I attended 100s of quality meetings with the Italian owners and they always wanted to be as good as Bosch - go figure.

cheapest bosch is about £290 is it any good ? or are only the mid the to high end good ?
am also in the market for a washing machine ours has bit the bullet.

Bosch are so much better than anything else, save money, get the best

well, apart from Miele.

so yes, stretch your budget ever so slightly and get a bosch

no idea how much Miele ones cost, as my parents' one is over 20 years old and still going strong without any repairs. if you can afford it, get one.

Do not get a Hotpoint whatever you do. My mum has a Hotpoint and so does my brother and they have trouble with Washing Powder. Machine stinks after a while. I say go for a Bosch.

Well i'm going to stand up for my Indesit washing machine.I've had it for 3 years now without any malfunctions.

*touches wood*

Look round some charity shops if your really that skint, the bethany trust up here gets relatively new one's from house collections, they send them to an appliance company who give them a once over and tend to come with a year onsite warranty?

I got one when I first moved in years ago and its still fine!
