SW:TOR on Steam for £6.99!

I think my mean KOTOR. SW TOR is the new MMO?
Its typical I got this a month ago and now it appears on steam =/
 
Not played this in yonks. Tempted, but seeing as its this price and not on special offer it might have to wait, Steam has been spotted on my credit card bill a few too many times the last few months :)

True, a double pack comprised of the first 2 games would be an amazing deal.
 
I tried playing this a couple months ago on my pc and i got halfway through and it didnt work. Googled the problem and it seems it doesnt like vista, same goes for KOTOR 2:(
 
Random crashes in both I & II here on both Vista x64 and now Windows 7 x64.

Both epic games though, just got to keep saving twice (crash on save causes save game to corrupt)

Hopefully we'll the entire BioWare catalogue on Steam. Already own all of it but would definitely buy it all again in a pack if it was priced right.
 
Same here - on Vista x64, there seem to be a few points scattered the the game where it will crash completely.
The only way I was able to get round it was to copy my save game across to an XP machine and complete the offending sections.
 
I never completed this (I don't think?) but really really enjoyed it - I don't know where my disks went though so might well have to grab this - already have II on disk anyways!

If I can get through it without too many issues then I would happily play it all again ... dark side here we come :D
 
played it all the way through twice, light and dark, probably my favorite ever gaming memories, and really the first game that i ever felt emotion at.

Anyone who bought it, can you confirm if they have amended for widescreen resolutions? I know you can use the widescreen gaming patch on the retail one, but not sure how that would go with steam.
 
is this a add on, because i allways thought it was ?, ive never played it before though!

or can i just buy, download and play ?

is it really that fun ?
 
Love this game, I'm very tempted, but as people have said it's not a special offer, so I think I'll wait until a I & II are available in a special pack :).

It's a full game; Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. And yes, I would say it's one of the best games ever made. Whilst it's buggy, it's Bioware at it's absolute finest, combined with the legendary story telling of Star Wars.
