Hello guys!

Currently my iPod touch is synced with my Vista laptop but I want to sync it with my Macbook now. How would I go about doing this? Would I have to copy all the songs in my iTunes library on the Vista Machine to the Macbook?

Use a program similar to YamiPod or Senuti. YamiPod is free, Senuti allows 1000 songs and then you have to pay. Just Google eiher. That will let you take all of the content off of your iPod and put it onto your MacBook. All you need to do then when you're on the MacBook is tell iTunes to add music from whichever folder you used YamiPod to drag the music to. Finally then sync the iPod with the iTunes library on your MacBook. :)

You should be able to drag and drop the iTunes folder from the PC to the Mac Music folder, iTunes will then pick this up and you should be away from where you left off.

I see, so If i just copy the whole music folder from my Windows PC onto a USB drive or something, and just paste the folder onto the Mac, then import the folder into Itunes it should be fine?

Thanks

You should have a "iTunes" folder somewhere, probably in your music folder? Copy this to a USB stick. Then copy this into the macs "Music" folder.

iTunes folder should have in it things like : "Album Artwork", "iTunes Library" "iTunes Library Extras", "iTunes Music", "iTunes Music Library.xml"

When you start iTunes up on the mac it should pick it up straight away.

It did when I copied it from mac to mac :) and I don't see any reason why apple would make the two folder types different!
