Ouch, that's not good but can be avoided tbh. As long as you get the uprated Land Rover gasket fitted, get the head skimmed if needed and replace the water pump and underbody coolant pipes just in case it shouldn't happen again..

I think the wheel is actually real wood tbh, as is the gear knob As for the rest of it, well

somehow i doubt the dashboard was loving carved out of solid wood by a master craftsmen too

I like the look of these. Not so keen on the alcantara/suede inserts to the seats, but the rest of it is rather nice.

I suppose one plus is that if they were leather and the car was left topless in the sun, you'd burn your legs on the seats in shorts, whereas alcantara probably doesn't get so hot. I think if they were cream like the leather, the inserts would look better.

If funds allow I'd love to get the dash/doorcards etc trimmed in the same leather as the seats - some examples from here..
