Much as I love Wogans breakfast show, Evans is a great broadcaster and his drivetime show has become essentialy listening for me.

Cheers Terry for years of great radio... but Im already looking forward to the return of Christoph to breakfast radio

I like Wogan but it annoys me... how long... he ....takes... to get ... a .........sentence... out. About time he gave up really.

I dont have time in the mornings to listen to the breakfast show but love the drivetime with Chris Evans, will be a shame to lose Evans to the breakfast show. Anyone know who will be replacing Chris on the drivetime show, Im guessing it will be one of the known partnerships on Radio 2 such as Carr & Forbes or even Radcliff & Tarbuck?

Since you haven't read the last line of the article, Simon Mayo is expected to take over the drivetime slot.

plus his fake laugh does your nut after a while. I think the guy's had a good innings, and is a legend in broadcasting, but 2010 is about time

I quite like Wogan as well, i'll miss him in the mornings.

Having said that, I don't mind Chris Evans either so it's not the end of the world for me.

Anyone watched Wogans perfect recall? Bloody hell it's painful to watch him try and be funny.

I saw this the other week. Lord almighty its bad! The game show isn't new or original and its so dull. The jokes are amazingly cringe worthy.

I didn't particularly like Chris Evans when he was younger as he was up his own **** - with the exception of when he and Gaby Roslin were on The Big Breakfast which was ace at the time - but I love listening to him in the evening. He matured massively before he joined Radio 2, and is a much more pleasant person to listen to nowadays than he was when he was younger.

Can't stand Simon Mayo, however, so I won't be listening to the Drivetime any more.
