I had an argument with the shop keeper at my local newsagent as he is charging a higher price for the 30% extra free bottles of lucazade compared to the standard 380ml bottles.

He is refusing to backdown, am I right to be annoyed at this ? :S

He can charge what he likes, but of course he's in the wrong.

I used to argue with people that charged full price for "29p" cans.

I think they may have to charge the advertised price, but they can refuse to sell to anyone, so, meh.

Yeah, some are like that. The local Asian newsagents do that, plus sell marked cans at the full value. Their crisps are all labelled "to be sold as part of a multi-pack only", and their dog food best-before dates are all changed with biro. I don't shop there :p

Surely that is kind of illegal?

You'll have to torch his shop for this outrage.
