There's no such thing as "normal" flu either.

Every influenza virus is different, however it's still influenza. This one just happens to have a name as opposed to just flu. It was first discovered in pigs, hence the word swine flu.
If it originated in human it would your so called "normal" flu, just with a higher rate of infection between humans.

I think you've been reading too many conspiracy websites.

Because most of use don't particularly want to get Swine Flu.

Also as above, the swine flu jab isn't available or being given in the UK yet, how did your friend get it?


edit: Tamiflu = prevention, not cure, it means he was unlucky and got swine flu even on ant flu drugs, it happens.

So you inject yourselves with a dose of it to bring it into your body in the first place. Great logic.

Swine flu (H1N1)is the name of a strain of flu which orignated in pigs, which can kill people that normal seasonal flu wouldn't due to reactions such as cytokine storms.

It was responsible for the Spanish flu pandemic which killed between 50-100 million people in 1918.

It is real, don't be ignorant to the facts.

You seem to forget the polio epidemic of the 1950s and that measles is becoming more prevalent again due to parents not immunising their children, nothing to do with sanitation.

Tamiflu is actually a tablet, not an injection. I know it's pedantic but it does show you how little you know about what you're talking about.
