Show us your PS3 Slim Setup!

Well, this thread got off to a bumpy start. :p Now most of the posts on the front page will seem confusing to members just now seeing this thread. lol. :D

That is my set-up ^^^ I have that guy standing next to my system 24/7.....holding that position.

Because it was going off topic. Ask your questions in the main ps3 slim thread. This thread is purely for those that want to show their new slim setups.

need to sort out the cabling.

I think they should have stuck with the piano black, like on the fat version, instead of that awfully tacky plastic.

*Shinyness* costs money and the slim is all about cutting production costs. :D

I like the shiny look but at the same time I hate it for the amount of dust it collects. Not saying its hard to dust, its just annoying.

I don't think mine looks tacky or cheap in person however. The plastic looks and feels very solid and the front certainly looks nicer than on the original PS3. Much sleeker and less angular - the white lights on it are purdy. :D

They don't look tacky in real life, the stock photos make them look awful tbh, they are much sleeker and better looking than phats imo.

Those buttons really don't suit it.

Why do you always look for the negative things when ever you post?

When ever I am moving stuff about in my av unit I have to make a cautious effort to remember the PS3 can be turned on by just touching it. I'd sometimes turn it on without even knowing and then leave the room while its still on. :/

Same goes for the BD remote since any button on that thing turns the PS3 on. So annoying.

maybe he bought a load of the HD DVD's when they where going cheap after they lost the format war.

I guess but what HD movies are worth keeping the HD drive out for? Most can be had on BD for cheap. would free up some room under the tv.
