Reg Check

Send the reg to that silly number advertised on telly and you'll get one message about its price and one about its performance....for just £1.50 each message!!!

Ask the owner if you are not him, or if you are go find the engine number/code.

You'll need that otherwise you'll not find out. Or haynes manual will tell you (you can identify engine hopefully using pictures / engine code)

Ah brilliant thank you!! :) I suppose anybody has any knowledge of these cars? Looking to buy a 45K 2001 X Reg 306 Meridan with every kit possible, it’s only a 1.6 in immaculate condition it looks like it’s just come out of a showroom! Are these good cars???

They're alright although I suspect if you're that bothered about 10bhp, you'll want something that performs better pretty soon.

Lots of electrics on the meridian, made by french people 8 years ago is a recipe for potential problems. A mate just bought his GF a 1.8 Meridian - again, was low mileage and immaculate but has had several electrical niggles

They're not the worst cars around, pretty comfortable and well equipped - they dont handle too badly either. I'd still choose a Focus over one though

Thats sound advice thanks :) The car is priced at £1450 and look to be a steal, could I get a focus with the same spec for the money?
