Dent masters....pffffff

But for $5 it's a bargain.

I think I might try it out on my crappy car. Do B&Q sell compressed air?

i couldn't quite hear him, did he say only on plastic?

i've used hairdryers to warm up bumpers and hold them back into place, never used canned air. It can be quite pricey for a tin btw

That's a good old trick, and does work. Mate had a ding on his *ahem* Corsa after a trolley incident, and it worked for him.

I cough because it's actually an Astra, with a 1.4 litre engine. It does not move quickly enough to qualify as a car.

It only works on dents that you could easily push out by hand from the rear or use a suction puller on. It won't work for trolley dents or anything like that.

Is it the rapid cooling that the compressed air creates that pops the dent out?

Errr, yes, it's to do with heating the metal up then cooling it rapidly - isn't that pretty obvious? :D

You might want to hang onto the stuff, otherwise RBR won't have enough left to keep Brawns tyres cool... ;) :p

Hmmm found a new use for freeze spray we have at work.

It's not worth it to be honest - the type of dents you can (sometimes) remove with it always seem to be ones that could just be simply pushed from behind. I guess if you can get the spray for free and removing the door panel is annoying then it might be worth a go.

I had a dentmasters guy work on my Subaru Forester in Cyprus. His work was amazing, I so wish I had some before and after shots of my wing, it was just incredible what he achieved.

Took out every car park ding and the wing which had a 2cm deep crease in it, was perfect after he had finished, I couldnt believe it.

All for £50!
