Meatball Subs at Subway

My favourite subway is bacon + the entire salad selection in a wheat roll, with only pepper for seasoning. It takes subway to a new level because you can't taste any of that typical subway processed flavour; there is no cheese, no dodgy meat and no sauce.

I don't understand Subway, I walk past one every day and I can honestly say that without exception that whenever anyone is carrying something out, they all smell identical. A couple of guys at work eat them and again, it doesn't matter what they have, they all smell identical. And it's not a nice smell.

For the same money (or less) you can find a decent local sandwich shop and have something made fresh which will be significantly better quality, have the flavour of the product you're actually buying rather than the generic 'subway' flavour and probably be much healthier as well.

Exactly this. Just down the road is a little plaace that does carvery baguettes for about the same price. They taste infinitely better, are cheaper, and are probably much better for you, why more people don't go there I do not know.

subway is niice! i used to work there! they say its all fresh but the truth is all the meat are frozen and defrosted. The salads are the only fresh ones that they cut every day.

i dont think anyone was under the illusion that the meat wasnt frozen.
At the end of the day people prefer frozen food as opposed to off food.

Sounds vile :p

Bacon, turkey, chicken, ham and cheese with no ****. Perfect.

I like Subway, there is never one far away and it allows you to make your own sandwhich. If your recovering from a Hangover a Meatball is a god send and for a light lunch an turkey breast is nice.

It can be healthy for your depending on what you actually put into the sandwhich. Its fast food that is cheap, and also much healtheir (again depending on what you get) than maybe McDonalds and etc.

I would love to have a local sandwhich shop which is nice, but I dont. So Subway it is for me :D

I thought the meatball marinara would be hard to eat, then I had one. It's really not that hard at all. Load it with jalapeno's and it's delicious :D Hardly what you'd call healthy, but hey, you don't go to subway if you're looking for healthy food.

I can't remember what it's called, but the king of subs for me would have to be the one with Salami and Cheese with tomatoes and onions and lots and lots of chilli sauce and mayonaise. Put all that inside cheesy bread (footlong of course) and you have a winner! :D

The Meatball sub is a close second though and I will have that if I'm feeling in the mood if you see what I mean. ;)

Suck the juice out of the balls and then sort of compress them. Also suck out any sauce that comes out. You know what I mean?

You mean when you want to have some meaty, cheesy balls to swallow whole?

If I ever have a sub, its only ever veg. Don't trust them at all with meat. I won't eat at all if they are uncleanly, which a lot of their shops are.

Sucking juice out of balls and then sort of compressing them, well that sounds ******* lovely to me.

What? :p

As for proper sandwich shops, a lot of towns and cities don't have them and if they do they are stupidly overpriced for what you get and are just as bad as subway food.
