Are NDS games region locked?

Hi, just a quick question. Just wondering whether American NDS games work on my English NDS? I've heard they are not region locked, just want to make sure

DSi games are however, although there aren't any of these yet. Don't buy off ebay, chances are it'll be fake, and won't work on DSi. No point paying for a game where the devs/nintendo don't get paid.

Fact - the only region issues on the ds are language related ie Japanese language or whatever, and the fact that Chinese carts will only work on a Chinese ds as it needs extra memory for all the glyphs.
