Hi All,
Just about to build an I5 rig and noticed that its says Arctic Cooling Freezer Xtreme Rev 2 is compatible with this CPU.

I bought an Arctic Cooling Freezer Xtreme cooler last december but now dont have any packaging or any idea of what revision it is.

Does anyone know how to tell ?

I have one and it doesn'tsay anything, so I guess it's a rev 1, doesn't seem to have any 1156 fittins anyway. I now have the same problem.
I have emailed Arctic but no reply yet.

I've also mailed Arctic and got no reply. I was hoping to use this until some better coolers were introduced but It looks like I'll be going with the stock one for a while.

It will be rev 1. I have both. The rev 2 has a slightly better installation method. Actually edit, sorry I have a AC Freezer Pro, not the xtreme! doh. What's the difference then?

One is a truly massive 120mm tower cooler like a Noctua/Megahalems/TRUE rated at 160W and the other is a small 92mm tower cooler with flexible fan mounting rated for 130W TDP.

Both are good, but one will significantly outperform the other.
