Vidzone on PSN - amazing!

I don't see where he called you a fanboy, just pointing out the flaw in your "pre-going out drinks party thing." Why bother setting up the ps3 and vidzone when you could just stick in a cd and avoid any connection or streaming errors?

Why bother trying new things? I don't know. Maybe I should just stick my old tape collection into that old hi-fi I have somewhere ;) At the end of the day, I'll accept that I'll just use spotify etc more than not. It's just I like vidzone. Good to see something like this turning up. Def far from perfect though.

???? If you have looked through every band on vidzone then you have a lot more time on your hands then me. I haven't even scratched the surface. Or are you talking about the handful on pre-determined playlists on the front page?

No, but I've tried looking for a lot of stuff I do like and there's not much there. I'd put more effort in but the app itself takes so long to load and the search function is so lethargic that I can't be bothered.

Checked it out not long back but can't be bothered with it really! There's no music on there of the genres I'm into, so ergo it's a waste of bandwidth.

The ad's make it rubbish tbh. I've just had a look about on it for all of 30 mins.. I was shown the ad for "The final destination" about 20 times!

Get shot of the ads and it might work. Other than that ill just stick a music chan on me thinks.

Agreed - I think it's a great app. And I too like to have it on whilst friends are round for drinks / dinner etc.

Unless I'm doing something very wrong, it's shockingly bad. Slow as hell, very un user-friendly, and the genre's seem completely wrong.

Have tried searching for 'metal' tracks & can find virtually nothing. I'm sure Jack Johnson came up on a rock/metal search!!

My tech-n00b mrs likes putting Vidzone on when her friends come over for a drink (before going out)

Apparently they enjoy it more than me playing SF4?!

I like it, the only thing that annoys me about it is that the dvd remote (proper ps3 one) doesn't seem to work with it.

Great app, needs work, but they sound like they're doing a lot of work on it, especially the atrocious search function, so hopefully it'll be getting a lot better.

Mind you - have just managed to find a couple of Infectious Grooves videos, so I'm getting happier. Now to try & find some Suicidal Tendencies.

Sound quality isn't great though.

most of the music doesn't appeal.
the songs i do like take to long to find and when i press back to look for more it puts me at the top of the list so i have to scroll down to where i was.

problems with streaming and poor quality vids.

you may as well just put a music channel (sky) on the TV, i do.

Nice little update there. It gets some stick on here, but I quite like it myself.
