Anyone recommend an avi to wmv converter?

AVS video converter. I'd download it from an unorthodox source if you get my drift, otherwise you'll only get a demo version which has a watermark every 5 seconds or so.

Wouldn't they have watermarks as well?

this, get it from the source. Has lots of options, 1/2 pass etc., just make sure you have directshow codecs for the avi if it uses compression and you are good to go.

Yeah, trying this one out.

It seems pretty damn awesome at the moment, the video is coming from microsoft video 1. I did a small test render and so far - so good.
