You can download when ever you need it at no further cost. If you've used Steam before then this is just the same, you pay to have it in your account and you download as needed.

I had sound problems to begin with but this was quickly fixed by enabling Stereo Mix on the Recording devices on W7. And on that note I am off to play Bioshock

I have used D2D before and liked them for the most part. The only issue I had was updates on a few online games had to be downloaded exclusively through D2D (this was COD4 I believe). That wouldnt have been an issue except it took an exceptionally long time for them to get their version of the patch up

Great concept though. Hopefully they work it out to where you can DL patches from 3rd parties.

I haven't checked the rules lately but I'm sure there's probably something in there about self-promotion that D2DUK didn't want to trip over
