Fake Cars

I saw a young lad in a 57 Focus 1.6 the other week with the full ST kit, the only thing he forgot to add was the dual exhausts on the back, looked woeful.

The M Badge seems to be the one i have seen the most of, on cars that are Clearly NOT an M series.:o

[Pedantic]
An ///M badge does NOT indicate an M-Series car, just merely a car with ///M-tech styling and/or other genuine options from the M-sport range.

Also someone posted a pic on here of a diesel 1.6 taxi or something with an ST badge and twin exhausts :(

Saw it in Redcar about a year ago now

Really, I never knew that!.......

Its not the Blue/red M badge, its the badge that they add to a M series car that i'm talking about.

This was parked outside my house last night and it had a Cosworth badge on it.

WTF?

Yeah, I was going to call the council but he looked a big bloke so I left it.

They are the same badge - the difference being that Sport models just have M and the proper M cars usually have a 3 or 5 following the M logo.

When I got my car it was marked up as a GT500 (Vinyl on the side) and lettering on the hood scope to indicate it was supercharged.

That has all been removed/replaced, really don't see the point in mis-marking your car. People who don't know what car you have won't care/know the differences between models and those that do know can tell it's a fake.

In which case it is a fake M3. No twin pipes and no spoiler (i may be wrong in assuming that the M3 came with a small spolier?)
