They added anything since release? I can't bring myself to play it, the stress of being owned over and over again is too much for me.

I really like this game but the standard of play on the servers makes it very hard to get into if you didn't play any of the previous incarnations....

Since release of UT3? About 2Gb worth of updates and patches. New game modes, new menu interface. Can change AA and graphics settings now. Essentially bug free and looks brilliant.

And are all these updates and patches easy to come by? No trawling around the internet for them? I have UT3 on steam.

Good game, been having a bash on it recently.

Will, there was a huge update not so long ago - like an addon pack but for free. Levels, overhauls to the menu system, bugfixes, models, etc.

Good stuff.

My thread was first!
seeee!

To quote what I said there:

It's definitely worth checking out some of the mods that were released for MSUC.

The Haunted and Jailbreak are the ones I like best.

Jailbreak

The Haunted

The Ball and Prometheus are very highly rated too - nice puzzles :)

Where do I get that? Steam aint applied it I don't think. I'm getting connection failed on some servers.

It's called the "Titan Pack" - not sure if the Black includes this or not but if it doesn't, gamershell et al. will have mirrors for it.

Is there the still the issue where AA couldn't be enabled on some configurations (was it XP?). I remember playing the demo and it was lovely, but jaggy as hell.

You can get pick up UT3 in high street stores preowned for around a fiver these days, and the best part is it's activateable within Steam, so you'll never ever need the disk! :D
