First 5870 pricing in the wild - 320 euro

£280, £60 less than the cheapest 295, if when we get 100% guarenteed correct benchmarks and it holds up as close to or faster than the 295, I think ATI are going to be rather happy.

No indeed Fenris, I thought it would be around £280, I was just hoping it would be down around £230 :)

Woops, misread the thread title, I think £230 is a bit optomistic, I imagine it will hit £250 after 3-6 months and ATI's prices to tend to slide pretty quickly.

If its just over 300 euro then its most likely to be on sale fairly close to £300... dropping to £260-280 once the launch dust settles.

I've decided that if it's over £250 for a 5870 then I will just buy the one at release. If it's under £250 then I'm going to get two of them lol

Not from the usual reliable sources we wont, we will from a host of Chinese, Korean and Guatemalan sites though :D

I really think it is so strange though that amd are holding reviews back until release date, I mean (if the leaked benchmarks are accurate) then the 5870 is a lethal performer and they should be hyping it up before release.
