i would hold on till november when the newer games are out and the prices have adjusted to there right place . not long only 7 week.

first week will be rip off as usual :p

I went from 8800gt to GTX260, awesome upgrade

The 8800gt could play games at 1920x1080, but the 260 plays them smoother and at higher quality settings :)

It's the logical upgrade

or a 275/285 depending on the price you can find them for

the OcUK Value GeForce GTX 285 1024MB for £199 looks a great deal!
I dont know if it's even worth waiting for the new cards,Or just to buy this one lol

I also have a 8800GT and im looking to update it some time soon. Its been a fantastic card, but looking for a little more 'oomph!' :)

Id recommend what im going to do / people above are saying and wait until the 5850 prices & benchmarks are out before making a decision.
