***Official Halo:ODST Thread***

The company which i preordered with received it in there warehouse on the 15th, I rang up the same day just to check when they were despatching it. I got told "We'll have that sent very soon"

My friend has had it since Sept 6th, retail copy.

I am quite surprised how early people have been getting this and even more surprised at how many of them are playing it legit.
 
It's their own faults it got leaked like a month in advance, I mean why even ship it out to retailers when the release date is like 4-5 weeks away? You're just asking for somebody to either leak it on to the net or sell it early. The game itself has been done since around May/June and they have just been sitting on it until later in the year for the Holiday season.

Surprisingly though I don't find myself that bothered that I haven't got it yet, since I have been playing a lot of older PS2+PC games I've missed out on.

I don't think I'll be touching firefight, it seems tacked on (just like hoard on GoW) and I don't get why you don't play L4D if you want a humans vs ai game :p

I had an attempted delivery whilst I was at work, and the only thing I ordered was Halo 3 which was dispatched last night. I won't be playing it until next weekend anyway.

I really enjoyed Horde which is why I'm looking forward to firefight, I love these sort of minigame esque style games that I can co-op with my mates.
 
Horde was ok but I think I'll enjoy that type of game far more against the Halo enemies in the Halo levels. Co-op has always been my preferred style of multiplayer so I look forward to teaming up :)

I got mine from, xboxlive76 seems legit to me they send you a scan of the back where the code is too didn't cost me too much bout £28 roughly.

Thats why i didn't buy this. I'm looking forward to a run through in co-op legendary but would end up selling it straight after as I didn't like the MP of Halo 3.

I may as well just pick a copy up for £5 off all the people that buy it finish it in 4 hours and then say they hate the MP :D
