How much would you need to earn to be "Comfortable"

I don't know, is it really inevitable that you spend more?

natural way of life because people always want more than they have.

You earn more, you upgrade your car, which costs more to run and maintain. You buy a new house which costs more to pay for.
You get a new hobby, and they always cost a lot :p

Unless you are earning extreme amounts of money there will always be that one thing you want to earn more to get.

On the main road, Hotwell Road. Near that pub called the Rose Of Denmark, about 5 minutes walk towards the suspension bridge from there. I can actually see that bridge from my front door. :D

Taking home £1800 a month felt comfortable for me, though I was being overpaid at the time. Currently take £1500 which is far less "comfortable", but not particularly a struggle. I just need to manage my money better. If I didn't pay off £300 a month on credit cards, we'd have £1000 disposable to buy food and whatever we wanted with. But this too:

Heh used to live about 5 minutes from there, the Spar round the corner is manky:p

Yeah, that's very true. Before I started my current job, I had no idea how I was going to spend all the money I was going to earn. Funny how it all manages to get spent.

They sell some bottled ales in there. Not only that, but they're refrigerated too. So it's not all bad. And it's a sight better than where I was living before moving here.

Southmead.

Actually, southmead isn't so bad. My car was only broken into twice in two months, and the garage next door only burned down once.
