Gift for my host (what to buy)

Hello OcUK,

Seeing as it's the done thing I thought it best to ask the people of OcUK for ideas on what gift I should get my friend who is letting me stay for a few days.

I'm going by plane so liquids are not allowed and due to size restrictions must be small enough to fit in my hand luggage.

She's in her mid 20's and I thought about getting her something from York (where i live) but not sure what tho.

Any ideas will be greatly appreaciated (sp)

Decent chocs are defiantly the way to go.
Depends where she lives tho? As you may be able to bring her something that isn't available in her country, which would be nice :)
 
She is in Dublin but was born in Germany

Chocs might be a good idea as long as they dont get squished in my bag.
 
  1. 2ltr bottle of water
  2. Write on the side of said bottle.. "binary component 1.. do not mix"

Have fun at customs + get some pictures taken with armed police = great postcard for your host.

Very good but

Perfume & Jewelry = Not sure if thats a bit too much seeing as I already got a girlfriend and she would want something if she found out I got this friend something like that.

Flowers, ornament & vase = Smashed or squashed in my case

Chocs = Good choice
