Champions Online

it's fixed now (or it was last night) though those demons in the canadian wilderness still cause me trouble for some reason (probably just me being crap)

I'm in one of those sticky patches where I just can't seem to find any quests at my level - really frustrating, as getting involved in higher level quests is time-consuming and frustrating - constantly fighting higher level opponents is not as easy as it was ten levels ago - nor should it be, I hasten to add. I'm just hoping for a suddent burst of quests sometime soon!

took me ages to get from 22-23 but dinged last night..loving my new build now i actually know what im doing...FEAR THE LVL 3 GIGABOLT :)

I was having a lot more success after I respecced myself - got to 24 and was cruising - but I logged out and now I can't get the launcher to load up! GRR!

i respecced myself recently too, well glad i did i properly kick ass now! i'm a mix of the shadow powers and TK. i'm level 32 now, the trouble i'm having is that every mission i'm picking up is for 35, so i guess that means when i get to 35 i'll be running out of missions? Rhinoplasty is still red to me (I think) crisis in lemuria is orange and the guy in the canada's missions are still all red. i'm having no trouble completing them - just worried about having to grind a ton of xp!

A lot more will open up! Plus, there are quests that you can re-run now for Xp. There will also be a lot that you have missed (they are hidden)...to find them goto http://www.ebonmists.com/co/index.php and follow the instructions :)

It is suprising isnt it! You just miss one or two people (sometimes hidden out the way) and miss out on a whole quest chain and perk.

Yes. You wont get XP for killing the mobs involved, but you will get the quest reward XP.

Excuse the lame post, but is this game any good?

I tried it on a laptop on minimal settings while I was waiting for my new rig and it was ok but didnt look (gameplay wise) anything special tbh but I only played it to level 5!

is it worth sticking out? I'm loving Aion atm but did buy this game too!

Have started playing again this week. The population is looking better than it was when I logged in a few months ago and the community seems more positive. Some new content added (quests, locations etc), although like most MMOs, still very repetitive. They have finally added a difficulty slider too. Should keep my attention for a few days :)

I remember on release they basically nerfed the strength of everyone after about a week, so instead of feeling like a super hero it was more sub-hero.

Did they ever revoke that decision? I know lots of people inc. me who quit because of it, it literally turned the game on it's head for me, what was fun became, not fun. Instantly over one patch.

Looking to play again, a lot of time has passed.

All I can suggest is to try it. They seem to have made a lot of changes while I was away. I certainly don't feel as gimped as I used too. There is a healing class now too. Just got to the new land - Vibora bay. It is pretty cool. There seem to be some new powersets too.

This is what someone on the main forums said and it kind of sums up my findings today "I am happy to find that you can now play most builds and feel like a superhero smashing evil, instead of getting whupped on by henchman (unless you had a very tight build)."
