Fraps not working in Win 7?

Doesn't appear to just effect myself although it seems quite random. I can't get Fraps to even start let alone work. It installs and ask for a restart, then nothing. I am using Win 7 RC I believe although I can't remember which version or anything important like that.

What version are you using?. I could never get anything below 2.9.4 to behave in Vista and the same went for Windows 7. Used 2.9.4 with the RC build 7100 and RTM 7600 without a hitch, currently using 2.9.9 with Windows Server 2008 R2 without a problem.

You might need to start Fraps as an administrator. Right click on the shortcut on the desktop, go onto the compatability tab then check the box "run this program as an administrator".

fraps is working fine for me and i'm using the 2.9.4 version.

I downloaded the latest version from the fraps site. I tried run as admin, no joy either! Really weird. That's not the only weird problem I have though - I can't get the Win 7 performance info and tools thing to work either, the 'rate this computer' button does not let me click!

No, works just fine for me, 64bit version.
