Which of these hatches get your vote?

An alternative, my C2 hit's 60 in just under 7 secs, with a remap and induction and some weight saving measures (read car overclocking lol) :D

But it does mean driving around in a french tin can, rear legroom is non existent, i didn't like the driving position and don't get me started on build quality.

One of these 2:
Mondeo ST220
Civic type-r ( saloon, no thanks to the hatch)

No thanks to the small Germans tbh... Clio is too girly imo and I don't like the styling/exterior, and a focus is too small ( was one of the options I considered when buying my car but it was way too small in the back)...

am i the only one that finds these claims slightly incredulous.

Stock 0-60 for the C2 1.6 engine is 8.3

1) have you any idea how much effort it would take to get a 1.5 second improvement in your 0-60 time. I added 20bhp, and over 100 lb/ft of torque with my remap and air filter.

That reduced by 0-60 time by approximately 0.3 seconds i reckon. To get 1.4 second reduction would take a very significant change in power to weight ratio. There isnt even that much trim to remove on a C2

2) i get 20bhp and 100 lb/ft more from a remap alone because ive got a turbocharged car.

Superchips reckon they can get a whole 6bhp increase from a the 125bhp 1.6 Engine

How much does the air filter add, another 4 bhp ? and thats being kind

So since when has removing the rear seats and adding 10 bhp reduced the time by 1.5 seconds ?

If you'd said just under 8 seconds, id have been halfway to beliving you, but just under 7 ? What you timing it with ? your watch ?
