+1 superewza as picked a much better monitor for you us for the ram i would pick the
Patriot G Series AMD 4GB (2x2GB) PC3-10666 1333MHz Dual Channel but thats because i am a fan of patriot.

The Dell is a lower resolution but offers better image quality. Whilst I nearly always get Asus components, their monitors aren't the best. I give my vote on monitors to Samsung.

I have the samsung 24" T240, its a prity good monitor max rez is 1920x1200, If other samsung monitors are as good then pick a samsung.

Samsung it is then, cheers for the responses - I think I'll put the extra towards it and go 24", I used to have a 24" Benq which was pretty good and think I would prefer the res.

@ Paininlife - is there much difference between the two in real world performance? I used WD in the past and Samsung and can't tell the difference between the two. If there is I might use the Samsung for storage and put my OS on a WD.
