The other thread is mainly talking about the HD 5870 and it seems we need a thread to talk solely about the HD 5850 as many aren’t interested in the HD 5870 (me included). Anyway, it looks like this card will be gold. I’ve listed a few reviews that I’ve come across this morning (all mostly positive).

AnandTech: AMD’s Radeon HD 5850: The Other Shoe Drops

FiringSquad: ATI Radeon 5850 Performance Preview

Guru3D: Radeon HD 5850 review (CrossfireX)

Hard [OCP]: AMD's ATI Radeon HD 5850 Video Card Review

HotHardware: AMD ATI Radeon HD 5850 Performance Review

Legit Reviews: ATI Radeon HD 5850 CrossFire Video Card Review

PC Perspective: AMD Radeon HD 5850 1GB Review - Cyprus gets a bit cheaper

Tech Report: AMD's Radeon HD 5850 arrives

Tom’s Hardware: Radeon HD 5850: Knocking Down GTX 295 In CrossFire

TweakTown: Sapphire Radeon HD 5850 1GB Video Card

I'll update the list as more reviews roll in.

Thanks for posting Tejstar, been waiting for these damned 5850 reviews forever.

Performance is impressive, it is very close to its bigger brother and overall 200 seems to be very fair price

Just wow, its performance is so so close to a 5870. Maybe even too close, it really makes hte 5870 price look bad. Demand for 5850 is gonna be huge at 200 quid

Can't believe FiringSquad were the only review to overclock this thing properly....and impressive that when they did it was quicker than a stock 5870. These cards are going to be damn popular!

this is way too confusing, not sure which to get now.

with prices as they are, the 5850 is the way to go. As mentioned above, one review oc'ed it beyond stock 5870 performance, for 100 quid less 5850 is crazy good. But there is also an nvidia conference today so who knows what we might see.

Here's a small reminder to not hotlink and rehost any images you want to show from the reviews instead...

Some interesting reviews indeed, wondering how much extra volts would be needed to push one of these cards near if not up to the clocks of a 5870.

The 58xx series is shaping up to be an impressive set of graphics cards indeed, crossfiring two of those would be a dream!
