I recently levelled a Pally (as Ret) from 1-80 with the heirloom chest, shoulders and weapon. It was the fastest and easiest levelling process of all my numerous characters. I can see why you think they're overpowered.

Unfortunately, the tanking rotation is as dull as dishwater. I'd also hoped to enjoy some of the massive single target healing-per-second ability, but I got in after the Illumination nerf from 60% to 30%, so I seem to be fighting for mana constantly.

I've been back on my warrior for the last couple of nights. It might never solo Molten Core (as Pallies and DKs can), but the tanking is a bit more entertaining. Perhaps I didn't give the Pally enough time, but I doubt it'll get more fun.
 
Was a senior officer in my current guild, GM was a good friend in real life.

He got annoyed by the whole WoW thing (bored of it actually) and is currently in to Aion.

Meh, I might just level for 5 man pugs and stuff... really not certain yet.
 
im looking to start again from scratch, not too much of a fan of horde though as new warchief grommash is a ****!

would rather play alliance.

part of me is thinking about leaving the game until cata and then roll a worgen

thats probably why blizz have brought forward icecrown citadel, they are watching their customer base leave before their eyes for another game.

would not suprise me to see icecrown before christmas and cataclysm before summer next year.
 
So there havent been any dates have there? Last i heard people were talking about november, But was just from previous content patches i beleive.

Its funny you say people are leaving for aion because me and my bro have started playing Aion but he wants to stay just to kill the Lich King, He said wow wont feel 'finished' untill he has atleast killed him! So im my eyes the sooner they bring out Icecrown the better!

Raiding has become soo boring.. I got the same problem i see people in the thread saying, Want to go hardmode but the moment that gets put into the calender suddenly no one wants to raid! Everyone just seems to want to get easy epics.. Its sad really, I thought people liked a challenge, But obviously not.

That’s a very good question! Don’t really know, having spoken to a few of the officers that left, they complained about no help and support from the guild leaders.

A few raids got cancelled, annoying some people who left and with no officer around things just snowballed out of control.

I am in the process of levelling a paladin too, and i must say it's the most fun levelling i have had in a long time, just trying to get her 5 more levels before the 5th so i can get my brewmaster title.
 
Man, the amount of people in my guild that quit the game the past three weeks is unreal. We went from 80+ people to around 40 or so, 20 of those regular players. The top three guilds on my server is talking about merging just to be able to field ONE 25 man raid group, that's how much everyone is struggling to push people into raids these days.
 
I have just dinged 80 with my warrior today and respecced prot, I was wondering if anyone could send me a link with the rotations I need to be using. I used to tank in vanilla but it seems a lot different now, and I have no idea how play?

Really? Everyone seems to raid nowadays, which cause problems with recuitment and keeping people. Hardmodes and achievements can be sore point, some people want the and some don't. Often meaning they don't happen, causing poeple to quit for HM guilds.
