demo doesn't no matter what compatability tabs I tick

I was just about to order the full game too lol

It doesn't work with a straight install. Am just getting the latest patch, and will let you know if that sorts anything.

ye i have the retail bfme 2 works fine on my vista 64bit but had a lot of problems with the expansion ea finally got round to it after 6 months on support and fixed it. But not sure if they work on windows 7 i would probally say no if i had problems on vista

AH - would be interesting to know if anyone has tried it with the Rise of the Witch King expansion, as I don't have that.

Works fine for me. I didn't do anything unusual to install. I am running on the RTM of Win 7 though.

Both bfme 1 & 2 work on vista and win7 with this patch

This file works for both BFME 1 and 2. To install the file extract the two files "Options", and "Maps" to the following location. Local Disk/Users/(your username)/AppData/Roaming/My Battle for Middle-earth Files /My Battle for Middle-earth (TM) II Files
This should fix the problem, and you can still play online if you want to.
