Bluetooth head unit - Pioneer or Alpine

As above.

Must support iPhone looked at Pioneer this morning 7100bt model.

Looking for opinions.

its a nice head unit, had mine a month or so, works great for hands free calling etc.

It lets use your iPhone as a source via bluetooth or cable, cable is far better quality and also has more navigation control.

I have the 7100BT and it works great. The only minor niggle I have with it is the menu navigation and Random/Shuffle does not seem to work from a USB Flash Drive source.

Yep, the random shuffle works great when iPhone is hooked up via cable, but as you say doesnt do anything when using USB stick.

Navigation an be a pain due to the sheer amount of options, no way you could do that all the time whilst driving, I just bought a load of cheap 4gig usb pen drives and use them 99% of the time, really easy to just click up to jump folder or right to skip tracks.
