Flashforward

I thought it was pretty good and I will be watching the 2nd episode.

I had my worries after hearing it was from the people behind lost.. but thank CHRIST it doesn't seem to have the boring flashbacks of the characters that lost has every 5 minutes, and no "WOOSSSSHHHHH" sounds on every part of the show that is supposed to be amazing and thrilling. You can tell I ******* hate lost, can't you?

I just hope the plot stays fresh and is well thought out instead of dragged out.

Wasn't that impressed with the first episode, they all seemed to accept what had just happened to them all pretty quickly. But I imagine it's very hard to fit the concept and introduce all the characters and give them some depth in one hour. I'll watch again but I'm not holding my breathe.

Enjoyed it too.

I cant see the point in showing the aftermath of destruction as it really should be left to the viewers imagination as the plot is solely aimed at a bunch of people finding out what happened and why it happened.

Leave it be and just enjoy the show.

As for the fires in the buildings, maybe they were floors of laboratories of some sort and testing out chemicals. Once left unattended maybe caused the fires. Or even someone smoking and the fag fell on the floor, only takes a few seconds to start a huge fire. There is always a reason.

Creepy ending as someone already mentioned plus the last bit where the person just stopped and looked around before heading down the steps had me going.. I was like "ooohhhhhh" quick to the internets to see if ep2 is out... Alas it wasnt.

Exactly!

Or some of the thousands of helicopters and planes that fly over US cities every day - I appreciated the effect.

Yeah left me wanting more...

Really think this should have been a double episode or an extended episode at least. Felt there was too much being crammed into that episode and they could have made it longer

Overall I thought it was decent and will definitely watch again. An interesting concept but usually when you have a concept like this eventually you will need to explain how it happened and that part usually disappoints.

I'm enjoying this so far, wasn't sure about the concept but I like the cast, and while there are a lot of characters they seem pretty well done, none of them look similar or anything.

Watched this last night and really enjoyed it, instantly has me hooked now. Cant wait to find out who the person who survived the blackouts was :)

How many seasons are there of this? Obviously over here we're on the first but what about over in yank land?

This is a pointless longshot..

Who does the main characters voice remind you of?

Each time he speaks I think, oh that sounds just like xxxxxxx, but I can't for the life of me think who I mean :p

Dont know who he sounds like but he looks a hell of a lot like Ralph Fiennes :p

Coincidently is it only me that thinks both actually look quite similar to Hugh Laurie
