M3 and S2000 pics

Thanks Sam - £14,950 in the end. You can get them much cheaper now, but I was quite specific about spec.

Great pics :cool:

I think you got a good deal because I havent seen much of a drop in price; Im I am looking for a similar car and 15k is exactly what you need for a good facelift with options.

Yeah, I specced up the car I wanted and ideally wanted to spend £14k, but went a little over as the one I wanted had a few little extras (4 new tyres, recent service, warranty until March 2010) and thought it would be stupid not to get it for the extra grand - considering it's a car I hope to keep for a very long time.

It's a corker mate, exactly what I was pondering buying for a while.

I could stretch to buying the car, but the fuel/tax/servicing would've finished me off ultimately.

Typical - it rained today!

Both look sweet.

What mods are on that S2000?

Interesting question !

====================================

Suspension - Tein S-Tech Springs, Honda OEM Dampers, Mugen Castor Bushes, Powerflex Polybushes top,bottom and all 4 corners Wheels In Motion Track Geometry Settings

Chassis - Cusco Front (32mm) & Rear (30mm) ARB's, Cusco Front and Rear Lower Braces, Cusco Front Upper Strut Bar

Brakes - DBA 4000 Slotted Discs, Ferrodo DS2500 Pads Front and Rear, Motul RBF600 Fluid, "Lower" Master Brake Cylinder Brace

Cooling - Mugen Radiator Cap, Fan Switch and Thermostat

Intake - K&N Replacement Cone Filter, Honda Gutted OEM Airbox

For Show - Mugen Oil Cap, Reservoir Socks

Misc - Mohair Roof with Heated Glass Screen, Perspex Seat Inserts + Full height wind deflector

====================================

Basically everything is aimed at making it better handling bar the cooling and intake mods. The car is significantly more predictable now, I have loads more feel and the car is incredible when its on the track.

Bedford November 21st should be interesting as its the first time with the Tein Suspension. I'm running slightly more camber as a result that should help out

Is a nice supercharger for sale on s2k forums at the moment, go on, you know you want to ;)

I would by lying to say I'm not tempted, but it's missing the aftercooler so would be crap on track.

I'm looking at getting the vtc system from d craft, airbox snorkel, mugen manifold, berk high flow cat and mugen exhaust. Spice that up with a decent ecu and I'd be very healthy in the midrange and better up top.

Clarkey - they are very thick, car is pretty much completely flat now,

looks ace connanius. stance is spot on!

having problems finding one with decent roof and bolsters in my budget!

Hoping for a good day this week/weekend to get mine cleaned and get another layer of wax on, crappy weather has pretty much decided to set in here from yesterday.

with the greatest respect just be careful at the bottom end of the Market. What I would describe as bags of excriment are filling the Market. Bare in mind though that fitted a new mohair roof is only 830 from carehood warehouse (with heated glass rear screen if you get the wires) and that fixing the seats isn't that hard (look at my halfords sponge thread, yes it's ghetto but it's 2 quid until I get bucket seats and harnesses down the line.
