Couple Sue Wedding Photographer

:-o

Woah... to be honest, those pictures are truely horrible lol, they deserve every penny back, and more.

I paid over £4000 for my wedding photographer and album. I now see why.

Holy God £4000?
My entire wedding only cost £5200 with 140 heads in attendance.

Photographer cost me £585 and he did a sterling job, did you get to keep the camera equipment or something?

£4,000 isn't a huge amount. Consider he may have had had two primary photographers, so that's essentially £2,000 each, and then if that's full coverage (bridal prep through to evening entertainment) as well as all photo printing/book costs it starts to look like a fairly average price.

Only in yours and his world - it's sure as hell not in any of ours! £4000 is a huge amount - £1500 - £2000 is far more average priced.

That's pretty bad, I found his website in the SWPP but it seems to be down http://www.freshimages.eu/

It sounds like he didn't take the photos as the article says "But on the day a different team turned up at her home", so it sounds like he sent some inexperienced wannabe. Still it doesn't absolve him of responsibility as it's his job to ensure his photographers can cut the mustard and his clients get the quality product they expect.

I expect his wedding bookings will take a significant nose dive too.

I know I shouldn't have, but I did have to LOL at some of the video footage! :D

So, with the judge only awarding the couple a £500 refund, it means that little lot was worth £950...

A nice benchmark to consider when pricing my next wedding then... ;) :D

I should say that that £4k included 3 photographers (1 organising people and taking group shots and 2 taking candid shots of guests and the location etc.) and also 3 albums, one each for us and our parents.
