but anyway you can see how much of a difference to the acceleration the almost instant gearchanges make its seamless accel wheras the other car always jumps slightly when shifting up a cog... ging the GTR that extra advantage.

I know it should not rise to this lol but what are you basing that on? You still need an great driver to beat a bike around a track, take Tiff Needell racing the ducatis for example, bike costs a fraction of the gallardo!
You need drivers and riders of equal skill levels for a good race, hell the stig in a Civic Type R could beat a crap rider on a ducati 1198.

the gtr was only a tad faster than the 997 which was just as quick as the enzo, so i dont think the gtr was outlandishly fast

Having owned a Hayabusa myself, I know how fast bikes are.
It's always interesting to me though to see just how much car metal is needed to beat one.
If it's mundane to you, fair enough.

This is what happens when the Government declares everyone in the UK should have access to the internet..... Those who sit at home all day spending MY TAX post some claptrap on the internet and remind me why they can't get a job and as useless members of society with nothing to offer should be shot.

Bikers always love to wind car drivers up about how much faster a bike is compared to a car, well unless the car is quicker of course, then they turn to price and the "yea but for the money". :)

Well no not really, I could easily post a BS comment and I'm hardly using your tax money!

It's more likely kids at home making vague comments or chavs sitting in BK using free wifi on their stolen laptop while laughing about how awesome their chicken nuggets are. no?!
 
very poor starts from the busa pilot, he should have spanked the GTR off the line even if it's got 800bhp. conditions did look damp though...and with gtr's launch controls you need a superhero on bike to beat it.

with the busa 186 limiter it was always going to lose, plus once you get to over 180mph bikes just can't punch through air without a lot more power...

to destroy a stock superbike you need around 1000+ bhp, and even with this GTRs 800 it didn't detroy it by a long way, busa was hanging on in, which for a £9,500 stock bike is impressive :D

spend 4k on a turbo for busa and GTR would have been left a spec in distance :-)
 
I'm guessing you don't like cars that are as fast as fast bikes for some reason :p

cars and bikes cannot be compared, if you try to... unless the car is some hypercar 'omg like you'll never afford one anyway' or 'i spent £60k tuning it look it beats bikes' ....the poor car owner is always gonna lose :D

i'd be quite happy to drag race any car on this forum, skills nahhh... bikes just tend to be quicker!!, and my 'shed' (like £4000 worth) is all thats needed
