I was looking forward to this game but must say I have my doubts as well. I pretty much though the same upon looking at the video. I'm all for taking time over kills etc but that video made it look like I'd just be shooting specs of dust in the distance.
Still going to give it a try though, we'll see.
i take it u never played OP Flashpoint 1 right?
i dont see how this can be implemented well on a console however its mouse and hi res tft screen ***!

IMO you must get the PC version as it is the only version that includes the mission editor. This game looks amazing, faults aside, and I for one can't wait for its arrival.
It is very tempting to play this on pc, but I would then have to guy a GPU capaple of playing it at decent framerates at 1920, as I currently only have a 7300le 
Tempting as it is to use this as an excuse to get my pc gaming capable again, I'll stick with the 360.
Though it would be interesting to see comparisons between 360/PS3.

From the screens/vids I've seen the 360 looks better. But I'll get to check them out in person before the week is over.

Ok people, i'm expecting extensive feedback, as how good this game is will effectively decide whether or not I buy a new Xbox 360..
As I said I LOVED Operation Flashpoint, so if this comes close to the original in terms of gameplay on the Xbox 360 then i'll plonk down my money for a new console!

No, not at the mo.
Friday is the official release date, so im kinda stoked to get mine shipped to me so early. Not known any big highstreet retailers to break dates but if you goto an indy store you might get lucky.
